Ed Sandor fell in love with audio production over 30 years ago. Being a musician with strong interests in technology and recording it was natural for him to immerse himself in the art of studio engineering. This led to building his own commercial recording studios and rehearsal facilities in central California. His experience made him a valued producer. Ed became a sought after independent producer and audio engineer for many record labels throughout the 1980’s and ’90’s. By 1993 he established a live sound division supplying sound reinforcement for a host of popular artists of the era.
The live performance business began to experience a change in the late 1990’s with more groups settling down into their own permanent theaters. While these new venues sprang up all over the country, the hottest real estate for live performers was Branson Missouri.
Over the last 15 years Ed has engineered some of the most high profile live productions in the business of concerts, theatrical performances, worship and corporate events with an impressive range of clients from Radio City Christmas Spectacular to iconic artists such as the Lennon Sisters, the Osmond’s, and many more. For over 7 years Ed served as Production Manager and Technical Engineer at The Andy Williams Moon Rover Theater in Branson and on Mr. Williams’ numerous world tours.
In addition to being an invaluable member of the CAE core team, Ed dedicates his time to consulting and designing cutting edge sound systems that allow performers, houses of worship and commercial concerns to effectively move sound around their facilities and audio productions.
Ed is often quoted in industry trade publications and has appeared in Pro Sound News. He is also the recipient of the Branson All American Entertainment Award for Best Sound.
